Why Tree Risk Assessment?

“A fool sees not the same tree that a wise man see.” ~William Blake

The goals for tree risk assessments are to mitigate risk associated with trees. As a tree risk assessment qualified & certified arborist, it is my duty to gather and synthesize information about the level of risk posed by certain trees. I utilize education, training and ISA’s best management practices to be able to systematically identify and assess tree risk.

That being said, it is not possible to maintain trees completely free of risk nor can we predict when trees will fail. Some level of risk must be accepted to experience all the benefits that trees provide. Having trees assessed using this standardized approach will help us make reasoned judgements and recommendations for mitigating identified risk.
